Agency quickstart: license to live client
One sitting. The portal wizard does the heavy lifting; this is the map of what it'll ask and what to have ready.
Have ready before you start
- Your license key (from your purchase email) and portal login
- GoHighLevel agency admin access (one-time app install)
- The client's website URL and WordPress admin access (for the pairing plugin)
- The client's license/certification line as it must appear in advertising — this is required, and it carries legal weight. Get the real one.
- Crew phone numbers (who may submit) and approver numbers (who signs off)
The wizard, step by step
- Pick the vertical. Home services or real estate today — each is a sealed pack of prompts, page structures and compliance rules built for that industry.
- Probe the client's site. Paste the URL; the probe reads it live and discovers existing town pages, service pages and hubs. Nothing is used until you've reviewed it.
- Review towns & services. Edit the lists — these become the vocabulary the engine is allowed to use. Empty lists are refused on purpose.
- Voice & brand. Paste a brand brief or a few sentences. Banned phrases are enforced on every page the engine ever writes for this client.
- Compliance. The industry floor is shown but locked (Fair Housing for real estate can't be disabled — that's the point). Add client-specific rules and the license line here. A human owns this step — it's the one part we insist you not rush.
- Numbers. Who can text jobs in, who approves. Approval texts ride the client's dedicated number.
- Connect the plumbing. Pick the GHL sub-account (guide) and pair WordPress with the one-time code (guide).
- Go live. The engine validates everything — if anything's missing it refuses with a named list, you fix it, retry. On success you get the live intake wiring. Text a real test job before you call the client.
Hand-off to the client
The client needs exactly three things from you: the dedicated number saved as a contact, the crew cheat sheet, and one sentence of coaching: "NEW, photos, one sentence, name the town." Send them the getting-started guide and let their first real job do the selling.
