Your first job, start to published
Five minutes, one text thread, zero software. Here's the whole thing.
Before you start
You need exactly two things, both set up during onboarding:
- Your dedicated number — save it as a contact ("My Website" works great).
- Your phone registered as a sender — only phones on your account can publish to your site.
Step 1 — Text the job in
- Start with the word NEW — it tells the system this is a fresh job, not an addition to your last one.
- Attach 2 or more photos. More is better; five is great. Exteriors, befores-and-afters, the finished work.
- Write one honest sentence — what you did, where, and anything worth bragging about. Name the town.

Step 2 — Read the reply
A few minutes later you'll get a text back with a verdict and a link:
Madison · quality 0.81
(review link)
That's a finished draft — written only from what your photos show and what you said. It may also ask you a follow-up question ("Can you send the square footage?") — answering makes the page stronger, but isn't required. Full guide to the verdicts →
Step 3 — Look, then say go
Open the link. You'll see the page exactly as it will appear, plus the checks it passed and where every claim came from. If you like it, either:
- tap Approve & publish on the review page, or
- just reply publish to the text.
That's it. The page is live on your website, in your town's section, with your license line on it — and Google gets told about it immediately.
The rules that keep you safe
- Nothing publishes without your OK. Ever. No reply, no page.
- It never invents. If you didn't show it or say it, it's not on the page.
- It quotes you exactly — so spell addresses and prices carefully. "4 bed" stays "4 bed".
- Customer privacy is automatic — street addresses generalize to the town and photo GPS data is stripped (home services).
